In Sha Allah Eid will be on Tuesday August 21st, ICL will hold two Eid Prayers sessions:
- 1st – Takbir starts at 7:00AM, then Khutba at 7:30AM by ?
- 2nd – Takbir starts at 8:30AM, then Khutba at 9 by Dr Hussam Nasir

In Sha Allah, our Hafiz Imams will complete the recitation of Quran on Wednesday June 13th. Join us for this blessed event.
In the month of Ramadan, In Sha Allah, we will have community potluck Iftars every Saturday. Please bring a item to share with your fellow brothers and sisters.
First day of Ramadan is Thursday May 17th in sha Allah. Taraween prayer will be Wednesday at 9:55 PM after Isha.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ : ” لا تَصُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْا الْهِلالَ وَلا تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدُرُوا لَهُ ” رواه البخاري (1906) ومسلم (1080)
It was narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) spoke of Ramadaan and said: “Do not fast until you see the new moon, and do not break the fast until you see it, and if it is covered then complete the month.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1906; Muslim, 1080.

If moon is sighted on Tuesday, first day of Ramadan will be on Wednesday May 16th and Taraweeh will start on Tuesday at 9:55PM. Otherwise, we will complete 30 days of Shaaban and Ramadan will be on Thursday May 17th and Taraweeh will start on Wednesday at 9:55PM.
In Sha Allah, Eid will be either on Sunday or Monday.
If Eid is on Sunday, Takbeer will start at 8:30 AM at ICL, followed by prayers 9:00AM then Khutba.
If Eid is on Monday, Takbeer will start at 8:00 AM at ICL, followed by prayers 8:30AM then Khutba.
Our Khatib will be Imam Rahim.

Quran Khatm is scheduled to occur on Friday June 23rd, which coincides with the 29th night of Ramadan 1438.

Join us Friday June 9th @ ICL and Saturday June 10th @ MCC for our annual fundraising Iftars. We only hold one fundraising per year. Please donate to your Masjid generously. Allah SWT says in Surat Albaqara verse 110:
وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
which translates to “And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah of what you do, is Seeing.”
We are glad to announce that we will have a Quran Hifz class on Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30 to 5:30PM for all age groups during Ramadan 1438. Hafiz Shadman Ahmed will be teaching the class.
The first day of Ramadan is going to be tomorrow Saturday May 27th. Join ICL tonight at 10PM to pray Isha and Taraweeh. Prayers will be led by Brothers AbdulRahman and AbulRahim.
